The SaaS application Gappless, that helps companies in the construction industry to register their activities, is running on the the Mendix platform. Due to various reasons, it is being rebuilt with other technologies. During that process the current Mendix based application requires maintenance and a few new features to be added.

As experienced Mendix developer for the Gappless application I greatly reduced the memory usage of generating PDF reports, I cleaned up dead code and I removed or disabled unused features. To support the need of existing customers I added a few new web services so their systems can exchange data with Gappless via a REST/JSON interface called GapplessConnect. Additionally I fixed various bugs.

Activities were finetuning the requirements, creating the design and implementing it. Testing was done by me or one of the dedicated functional testers depending on the (technical) expertise needed. In case I had to test it myself I evaluated the implementation with one of the other developers (four-eyes or peer review).

Deployment to test, acceptance and production servers were done solely by me.
